About Yellow Ribbon Churches

Yellow Ribbon Churches is a resources Web site that was started in the summer of 2009 when Bob Schirm (Navy Veteran and Army National Guard Father) and Lisa Anderson (Navy Reservist and Navy Wife) met to discuss how Minnesota churches could reach out and serve the military community.

Since then the Yellow Ribbon Churches Web site has been developed to provide resources to both the military community and churches interested in serving our military veterans and families. This site is also an opportunity to connect military members and families with churches that have military ministries.
